What better gift than the gift of rejuvenated, younger eyes? I know right! This is how to 'stuff' a stocking. Beauty products have always been a personal fave as a stocking stuffer pick with me and my besties. And I'm sure that will never change!
When I was in my twenties, I was a die hard skeptic about the value of eye cream. I just didn't believe in the claims that any of them made. I am pretty much genetically pre-disposed to dark circles. My dad had them, I have them. I thought for many years that the battle of the dark under-eye circles was always going to be a losing one. Much like the battle of the frizz, but that my friends is a story for a different post.
Aside from the dark circles, my eyes have been taking a beating this holiday season. To meet deadlines, I've been working much longer hours and spreading myself pretty thin. The first place this shows up on me is my eyes. And that does not make me happy. I have beautiful eyes, I say it un-abashedly as they are my favorite feature. They are a beautiful Hazel color with perfect flecks of Gold, the happier I am, the greener they look. As pretty as they are, they don't look good with dark circles under them.
Because this has been a year of 'pro-activity' (OK, writers license, that may not be a real word) I have been actively trying to address things that bother me. And this under-eye circle thing, has quite frankly been bothering me. I am no longer a teen, and late nights definitely show!
Thankfully, the blogging Gods were listening, and I was contacted to try to an under-eye cream. I will admit, my inner skeptic skoffed at the idea. But my racoon eyes embraced the idea and forced me to immediately break open the package and get started.
I will tell you I have seen marked improvement using Exuviance. And I went into it very doubtful. I do notice on mornings when I am in a rush and skip out on using it, people notice, because I always get the dreaded 'Do you have a cold?' or 'Did you get enough Sleep Last Night?'
The Perk, when I use it consistently I always get more compliments on what they should notice, my eye COLOR! :)
Thankfully no crows feet or fine lines to contend with yet, but I figure getting into the habit of using eye cream will help me prevent them! I do have some un-even pigmentation on the upper eyes, and have noticed more even pigment on the upper eye as well as the lower eye using Exuviance Age Reverse Eye Contour. As I already know I am NOT going to be happy when I run out of this, you know that means I definitely recommend it!
