Did '#Luxe - E - Claus" miss you this year? Check out #photo highlights from the @TheLuxuryReview & form your 2015 wishlist!

Was your holiday a little less than shiny? A little 'luxe-luster'? Maybe Santa just plain missed the mark completely?

Then let the products and brands presented at The Luxury Review give you a little inspiration (or ahem, 'aspiration') to make your wishlist for 2015!

Here are some photo highlights of all the "Luxe-tastic' things I got to experience at the New York City 'The Luxury Review': (I am going for something resembling alphabetical order, but my post holiday brain may not quite get there)

Mexico is one of my favorite places to visit, and visiting there helped me to develop a love of all things Tequila, I got to try out Tequila Baron for the first time at The Luxury Review event in NYC and I greatly enjoyed it! Will have to add this one to my bar!

I have to admit that the bottle drew me in. Much like Tory Burch's logo, the 'double cross' looks much like two 'T's' to  me, and since my name is Tracy I like to think they created this just for ME! I wonder if they need a blogger brand ambassador?

I have to confess I have never been on a motorcycle before (perhaps 2015 will bring a 'bad boy' into my life, LOL), this bike definitely makes me want to hit the road!

Needless to say Media are always hungry in New York City as there are always stories to cover and events to hit, RANA is a restaurant located in Chelsea Market in New York City, they tempted us with delicious pasta dishes and gave us a lovely gift bag to take home that included their Tortelloni, Ravioli, Basil Pesto and Alfredo Sauces and they were all absolutely delicious! I truly hope they will be back for the 2015 Luxury Review!

{#Giveaway Alert!} Dads AND Grads picks from @wilsonsleather + enter to win a $100 Gift Card via @Ascending1!

June is all about Dads AND Grads!

With it being days away from June I know my butterflies are on the hunt for gifts for both Dads and Grads (and let's not even mention all those June Weddings!).

The little elves at Wilson's Leather have devised the PERFECT most quintessential gift for the discerning butterfly lover out there, it's a Leather Scuba Jacket with super trendy contrast color and a beautiful white and black butterfly lining! If you have a butterfly loving Grad on your list, this gift is for her!

I ADORE THIS JACKET:

Wilsons Leather Giveaway Leather Scuba Jacket with Butterfly Lining

It's the details on this jacket that make it such a standout - The unique placket, collarless design and contrast colors on this Leather Scuba Jacket with an amazing black and white butterfly lining that make this absolutely perfect for NOW - while Spring is slowly turning to summer here in the Northeast, I am the type of person that gets cold the minute I sit down when I go to a restaurant or a movie theater, and I personally always carry a jacket with me because of it, THIS is the Jacket that I will be carrying, the caramel color on this is seasonless juxtaposed with black contrast, and rolling up the sleeve shows off just a touch of butterflies when you have the jacket zipped up.

Above is a closeup of the lining. It's like someone at Wilson's Leather peeked into my dreams and designed this jacket. It is beautiful!

Wilson's Leather has Men's Jackets too!

Wilson's Leather has a great selection for Men as well as Women (and Women's PLUS too!), they have handbags as well as gifts for Business and Travel as well!

MY TAKE:

I have been shopping at Wilson's Leather for a LONG time now, they were actually my very first Leather Handbag Purchase when I was a teen and working my first job! I have had great experiences with Wilson's Leather, like most leather it actually gets more character as it ages. But you have to start with quality Leather for it to wear so well and that's were Wilson's always exceeds my expectations. I always urge people to read the reviews, as sometimes with Wilson's you do need to size up, although I normally advise sizing up with most outerwear from most brands, as you are going to be wearing it over sweaters, especially during Winter (and sometimes in Spring also as evenings are still a bit nippy!).

WIN IT!

Wilson's Leather wanted to help us kick off Dads and Grads with a BANG, and are offering one lucky butterfly a chance to win a $100 Gift Card to buy just the right gift for your special Dad or Grad!

And I have a favorite trusted source for my Leather purchases. I have been shopping Wilson's Leather since my teens. My first job during my high school years allowed me to indulge myself in a few luxury loves of mine like Fashion/Leather and a Wilson's Leather Handbag was actually my very first purchase!

I still shop them to this day online (and in store) and was a loyal consumer way before working with them now on collaborations on my blog. Fashion is a passion and butterflies when it's leather it's that much better in my book. I have some Hot Picks from Wilson's Leather that I'm sure anyone would love to find under their tree!

You know I immediately put these to the test and used them with my smartphone to test out how easy it would be to use applications with the gloves and I'm happy to report I was able to open apps, take pictures and never had to remove my gloves at all, I love that the top is red leather and the underside is black so you also get the bonus of a nice 'color blocking' effect, tres trendy!

This scuba has clean lines and is deceptively simple, it's perfect to throw on top of your dress pants for work, and then use it again on the weekend thrown over your jeans with a cute dress boot. The full length zipper is hidden by a full-snap placket and it boasts a high scuba collar which you can just as easily wear down, the zippered cuffs are a super cute detail and give your sleeve a little more breathing room which is great when you are running errands or want a more casual look. The Two Front hand Pockets actually have a snap closure if you need to put something in them you have a little extra security, it also has a fully lined interior with one open pocket. I LOVE THIS ONE!

MEN'S LEATHER OUTERWER PICK:

HAUTE HANDBAG PICK:

Wilsons Leather Ginger Zip Around Leather Tote Handbag
Wilsons Leather Ginger Zip Around Leather Tote Handbag

I'm totally digging the clean lines and Pop of Color on the Wilsons Leather Ginger Zip Around Leather Tote! Yes Please!

MY TAKE:

I received the Touch Smart Gloves and Andrew Marc/Marc New York Leather Scuba Jacket for Editorial Consideration. I already live in Wilsons Leather and the gloves and Scuba jacket blended right into my wardrobe like I have always owned them. (I'm obsessing over the Handbag so I might just have to pick that one up this weekend!)

Wilsons Leather is always soft and supple, holds up really well, and most importantly butterflies, their customer service is top notch, that I can personally attest to.I do most of my shopping online now, but I will admit Wilson's is like an old friend to me and I can never pass by their brick and mortar locations without stopping in. (Random visits to the store always result in un-expected purchases, but I never have any regrets!). I HIGHLY recommend Wilson's Leather, with literally something for everyone, you can easily knock off your entire list, not to mention they offer a full range of sizing so you are very likely going to find something you love in your size in stock.

WIN IT!

I am so happy that Wilsons Leather returned this year to close out our annual Holidays Buying Guide. We got a late start, so we'll be taking entries for this one through the New Year and the gift certificate will be fulfilled in the New Year, giving you more time to get a ton of entries in, and double perk, you'll get a chance to see what comes in new after they re-stock after the holidays, so in my book DOUBLE SCORE!

I can finally fuel my designer #handbag obsession & get great prices, seriously folks there is #MoreatSears than meets the eye!

#Sponsored: This is a Sponsored Post written by Ascending Butterfly on behalf of Sears via the Niche Mommy Network & Conference

#MoreatSears

It's no surprise to long time followers that I have a handbag obsession. I will never own enough handbags. If there were a support group, I'd be it's President. Since 2009 we have featured a 'Featured Monthly Handbag in the Spotlight' on Ascending Butterfly, it's included both established and emerging brands /designers and probably just about every color of handbag under the sun.

I recently found out a handbag I have been coveting by a major designer is being dis-continued (I know right GASP!) so I went on an online hunt to see who still had it (My top three favorite Manhattan Department Stores were already sold out, UM serious LE SIGH!), and after scrolling was super surprised to find out Sears actually has it, so I skipped off to my nearest store, and they didn't have it. NOT COOL (My city is in the midst of a major heatwave, zapping me of any desire to be outside, walking or moving in general.)

Remember how I was telling you yesterday that the blogging Gods & the Universe have been sending me all kinds of signals? When this info hit my email inbox I have to admit it made me laugh. Not in a bad way, just in a not surprised way because I actually inadvertently discovered this revelation on my own, and I'm more than happy to let you guys in on the secret.

As a curvy Latina one of my biggest pet peeves is finding a super sweet outfit in the store, (or go looking for a coveted handbag), and then find out someone else snatched up the last one. To resolve this very issue, Sears has expanded its website. In fact, the Sears website is now WAY larger than the stores. Sears.com carries more sizes and colors than you can find at your local Sears. And for last minute shoppers, have no fear you can buy it online, schedule an in store pickup and Sears guarantees that they will have your item ready in 5 minutes or less, if they don't, you'll get a $5 in store coupon. (Um, even those pizza folks make you wait 30 minutes before making it up to you for the slow service! Just Saying!)

Aside from having more colors and sizes on the website, Sears.com carries more brands and styles online than they do in store. They really have 'stepped up their retail game' with brands like Ray Ban, Michael Kors, DeWalt Tools, Steve Madden, Nike, Vince Camuto, and one I've been obsessed with for a long time, Tory Burch. (You can't tell me that Capital T Logo of theirs didn't have ME in mind!)

Check out the Newest Arrivals at Sears Market Place!

Screen Capture of Sears.com Front Loader Washers - New Arrivals!

I don't know about you, but this mercury retrograde has been wreaking havoc on my appliances and electronics so I am researching a few major purchases (for after the retrograde dust clears of course) including a new Washer/Dryer, Refrigerator, and hoping somewhere in there I can squeeze in that handbag I'm lusting after, before it totally sells out!

What will YOU buy at Sears.com today?

Valentine's Day - How I style it! #Fashion #Polyvore #Curvy #handbags #shoes with @IGIGI @NicoleMillerNYC @EarthiesUSA

IGIGI Ambrosia Dress - How I styled it

Nicole Miller Clutch
Available for Purchase at www.nicolemiller.com

Van Cleef Arpels pins jewelry

As we start to approach Valentine's Day I thought I'd share some buying recommendations from what to wear, jewelry, accessories and more!

I got so inspired by my first finds that I thought I'd create a cute polyvore set to highlight them all! The folks at IGIGI sent me the Ambrosia Dress, and that started a chain reaction! I already had the great clutch (which you may recall from our last Nicole Miller Giveaway HERE), and I also already had the shoes), I think together these make a killer combo and are perfect for a night on the town no matter where your town may be. As for me, I'm in New York City, the City that Never Sleeps, and which favors the color black! It's been New York Fashion Week Insanity all week.

The seductive Ambrosia Dress is cut from all-season stretch jersey and hugs, smoothes, & enhances the contour of your curves. Whether in rich blue or black add some bright gems, a colorful clutch and strappy pumps for head turning style.

The Ambrosia Dress couldn't be more perfect for Love Day, not just because of the perfect for Valentine's Day name, but it's made to flatter your curves, accentuate what you want to accentuate and helps you hide what you need to hide because of the fantastic ruching!

And because despite Punxsutawney Phil's prediction of an early Spring this year, it's still FREEZING in the Northeast, but there is no way I was going to put this super cute dress under my puffer jacket, I was so happy when IGIGI sent over their Hanna Coat! It's a perfect compliment to the dress, and a stylish outwear option for us curvy girls!

I of course went with Black again, but this coat literally goes with everything, and I couldn't love it more! I have to add some photos of myself wearing everything (model photos are above)!

My Take:

Both the Ambrosia Dress and Hanna Coat are not just 'figure-friendly' but 'figure-flattering', as they are cut for curvy girls, their sizes tend to run bigger, so if you are ordering for the first time, refer to their size charts to ensure the best fit! (Although you should really do that anyway if you are ordering via internet or mail order for the first time with any brand!)

Get Social With It:

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Like IGIGI on Facebook
Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Follow @IGIGI on Twitter
Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Follow IGIGI's Boards on Pinterest too!
Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - And don't forget to subscribe to their channel on YouTube

In fact you'll be super happy you are following them across their channels, as they are hosting a giveaway via their facebook page and pinterest page right NOW! What you are waiting for butterfly, get in on the fun and a chance to win an IGIGI gift card of your own!

Butterfly, What are YOU wearing for Valentine's Day this year?
