Did '#Luxe - E - Claus" miss you this year? Check out #photo highlights from the @TheLuxuryReview & form your 2015 wishlist!

Was your holiday a little less than shiny? A little 'luxe-luster'? Maybe Santa just plain missed the mark completely?

Then let the products and brands presented at The Luxury Review give you a little inspiration (or ahem, 'aspiration') to make your wishlist for 2015!

Here are some photo highlights of all the "Luxe-tastic' things I got to experience at the New York City 'The Luxury Review': (I am going for something resembling alphabetical order, but my post holiday brain may not quite get there)

Baron Tequila at The Luxury Review in New York City 2014
Mexico is one of my favorite places to visit, and visiting there helped me to develop a love of all things Tequila, I got to try out Tequila Baron for the first time at The Luxury Review event in NYC and I greatly enjoyed it! Will have to add this one to my bar!

I travel by plane often and I can't say I ever thought of flying a plane myself, at least until NOW that is! Do you think fly lessons and THIS would fit under my tree for next year?

Cohiba Cigars at The Luxury Review

Cigar Afficionados certainly know the name Cohiba well, and The Luxury Review never fails to disappoint, they always seem to offer the finest spirits and the finest Cigars too!

Double Cross Vodka at The Luxury Review in New York City 2014
I have to admit that the bottle drew me in. Much like Tory Burch's logo, the 'double cross' looks much like two 'T's' to  me, and since my name is Tracy I like to think they created this just for ME! I wonder if they need a blogger brand ambassador?

Energica Superbike at The Luxury Review in New York City 2014
I have to confess I have never been on a motorcycle before (perhaps 2015 will bring a 'bad boy' into my life, LOL), this bike definitely makes me want to hit the road!

Giovanni Rana RANA Pastificio & Cucina at The Luxury Review in New York City

Needless to say Media are always hungry in New York City as there are always stories to cover and events to hit, RANA is a restaurant located in Chelsea Market in New York City, they tempted us with delicious pasta dishes and gave us a lovely gift bag to take home that included their Tortelloni, Ravioli, Basil Pesto and Alfredo Sauces and they were all absolutely delicious! I truly hope they will be back for the 2015 Luxury Review!

She has an open invitation to work with us anytime!

I just had to get a closeup on this beautiful Pony Hair Satchel:

If that handbag isn't 'ladies who lunch' I don't know what is! Tres Trendy! And with the Pony Hair I would totally go winter white with this, hashtag #seasonless for real!

The Luxury Review is definitely one of my favorite NYC events to attend, they showcase such a wide variety of products that are part of a luxe lifestyle, I could definitely imagine quite a few of these under my tree next year!

Which product featured above would YOU most like to find under your tree next year butterfly?

September @Wantableco #Accessories & #Jewelry Subscription Box Review #Wantable {#Photos}

September Wantable Accessories and Jewelry Subscription Box
Want to try out Trendy Accessories that are delivered fresh right to your door every month? Wantable.com is for YOU!

My name is Tracy, and I am a 'Subscription-Box-A-Holic', this is where you would say something supportive like 'No worries Tracy, we are too'. But then I'd have to promise to stop and I know I am NOT going to do that!

Un-boxing Subscription Boxes is a tough job, and somebody's gotta do it. I think it only fair it be ME!

For me, Subscription Boxes are like my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one. They are much like snowflakes as so far, no two boxes have been alike (and I try out a ton of them!), which is exactly what I love. I have never had a 'been there, done that' reaction to any box from any service so far.

Last month I opted for the Lingerie box from Wantable.comand this month I am trying out an Accessories Box. I have a confession to make, my first Accessories/Jewelry Box from Wantable wasn't the best experience, but I love that when I told them so, they wanted to make it right. As a consumer that put me at ease. Just like people are advised in dating relationships to test the relationship under a variety of variables before making a full commitment, I liked that they were open to honest feedback and continued working with me until we hit on something that really resonated. That my butterflies is a business you want to patronize. Not everything is wine and roses all the time, it's how it's handled that makes or breaks the experience in my opinion.

I was a bit nervous when this box arrived as the first experience wasn't a total rave, but when I opened this box it was packaged so much differently and more carefully than the first had been. Inside there was an assortment of surprises, all good ones. Let's Dive in:

September Wantable Accessories and Jewelry Subscription Box

September Wantable Accesories Box Included:

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Jocelyn Ring - A big bold statement ring that keeps with the Rose Gold Trend!

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Jill Headband - Fabulously Tribal Inspired Headband to take you right into Fall in style! (I wrapped the headband around the box so you could see it better)

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Elise Watch - This Gun-metal colored beauty is bold, trendy and has it's own magnetic closure to adjust to most wrist sizes.

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Theresa Bracelet - Mixed Metal with touches of Rose Gold makes this bracelet the perfect partner to the Jocelyn Ring!

September Wantable Accessories and Jewelry Subscription Box
Keep your hands off my Wantable Box! Don't you just love my KISS Gel Fantasy Nails?

My Take:

I haven't quite yet hit on my perfect Wantable Accessories Box yet. I keep putting LOVE on the Statement Necklaces and still haven't been sent any yet, so I am going to have to play with my pre-box survey settings until I finally hit on one. These are definitely items I may not have thought to pick for myself, but I am a huge watch lover so was stoked to see a watch that was also in a color I have never owned in a watch. I love that gunmetal grey color! I love the Tribal Headband and actually have a blouse that matches it, stay tuned for a photo of me wearing it! I have worn the bracelet and ring together also and have received tons of compliments, so I would say SCORE! I do however wish I could try out all four boxes per month because I hated giving up the lingerie box, and now want to try the new Fitness Box to see how it compares to my current fave in the fitness box subscription space, Fab Fit Fun.

I love that Wantable has a little something for everyone, you can get an Accessories Box, an Intimates Box, Makeup Box or Fitness Box! You can go "Forever" and subscribe for $36 a month or you can opt for a "For Now" which is the purchase of a single box for $40. Note that Subscriptions are shipped automatically each month, but they can be skipped or cancelled at anytime and if you get a box and you are not in love? Send your box back for a full refund, no questions asked! Now that is what I call ZERO RISK butterflies! And as no two people are the same, no two boxes are ever the same either, pretty cool right? oh, and did I mention that shipping is free in the United States?

I have to thank this Wantable Box for introducing me to Cate & Chloe Jewelry, I love their pieces as well, and they also have a subscription box so I am going to have to reach out to them for sure!

Which piece resonates most with YOU Butterfly?

FTC Disclosure: This is not a paid insertion, however affiliate links are used (so please shop away!). This is a non-compensated post and all opinions are expressly my own. I was provided with a Wantable Subscription Box to facilitate my review. This in no way influenced my opinion. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR, Part 255 - Guides Concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising, you may visit our full giveaway and disclosure page for complete policy information.

Discoveries from Girls Gone Glam NYC!

A little Glam time definitely helps to inject some fun into an ordinary day. I got the chance to attend a Girls Gone Glam Beauty Bar event at Bar-Tini Ultra Lounge (@BartiniNYC via twitter) and thought I'd give you a glimpse of what I discovered while I was there!

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Vanity Drink - Vanity Drink is the first all natural dietary supplement with anti-aging ingredients!

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Vera Moore Cosmetics - Vera Moore Cosmetics can be found at the Look Boutique at your local Duane Reade!

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Nail Lounge NYC - Provided the Manicures (I have had a chance to get manicures with Nail Lounge at various events and they are always AWESOME!)

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - It Works - It Works are all independent distributors, but I had never heard of their products before, we came home with one of the wraps and once I have used it I will report back with a full product review.

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Snob Candy - Snob Candy Boutique sells jewelry, handbags and hats! Not just any jewelry think true 'statement' pieces!

Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ· - Stella & Dot - Stella & Dot are also run by independent distributors much like It Works, so I'm linking to the Distributor who was actually at the Girl Gone Glam Event that I attended.

Here are some photos of the action:

This is the cocktail menu at Bar-Tini Ultra Lounge for the Girls Gone Glam Beauty Bar Event

Sorry Butterflies the lighting in this area wasn't so great, but this is Snob Candy and I linked to them above so you could check them out for yourselves! Their statement jewelry is EVERYTHING!

The idea of an Anti-Aging Energy Drink is definitely interesting! I would probably need a few cases, LOL!

The colors on this Stella & Dot Statement Necklace are perfect for Spring going into Summer!

Natasha Aybar is a Stella & Dot Distributor who shared some of their latest styles for Spring/Summer

It Works are also independent distributors who were showing off their Wraps (they offer both face and body wraps that tone and tighten)

MY TAKE:

I have been painfully aware lately that I haven't been taking nearly as much time for myself as I should. I live in the city 'that never sleeps' and oftentimes sleep is what gets neglected when I am in catch up mode. Having the chance to check out pretty jewelry, new makeup and stop and get a manicure was literally just what the Doctor ordered!

When is the last time you took some time just for YOU butterfly?

{Recap} @ElementsShow NYC - Brand Highlights - It's #Beauty, #Makeup, #Perfume #Nails #Cosmetics GALORE!

Elements Showcase is the definitive marketplace for established and emerging visionaries in the world of Beauty and Fragrance Design. They are the most innovative curated fragrance tradeshow in the industry, linking the best in fragrance and apothecary with top tier press and buyers from boutiques, major retailers and key independent storefronts. The aesthethic of Elements Showcase is unlike any other tradeshow, featuring an open floor plan, special projects, and intriguing art installations at an incredible location in the heart of New York City.

And while it's meant for Press to experience it across multiple days, I can normally only attend one day (more like a few hours of that day too boot), so I have to maximize my time, sit down with a list of exhibitors and figure out my plan of attack very early on.

Here are the amazing products and brands I met with during Elements Showcase in mostly alphabetical order:

I loved their creative display and had to stop and take a few extra pictures to get better close up details:

ILLUMINUM Fragrance testing area at Elements Showcase Tradeshow
Scent Testing area, it is super hard to pick a favorite!

I will say that I have worn the scent 'Bergamot Blossom' most often this spring and do not fail to receive various compliments when I am wearing it! Its notes include: Bergamot Calabria, Neroli Tunisia, Pimento Berry, Black Pepper and Thyme at it's heart and base notes of Labdanum, Musk and Oak Moss. Other standouts were Rajamusk, Arabian Amber, and of course Piper Leather (very masculine, but I tend to find 'leather' scents appealing).

It's Top Notes include: Sparkling Red Mandarin and a whisper of Tangy Cinnamon, a Heart Note of Red Moroccan Rose and Base Notes of Vanilla, Amber, Incense, Fresh Vetiver, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Musk. (Which as many of you might remember, when I got the opportunity to do a 'custom scent' my notes were strikingly similar to these. I have been alternating wearing this scent and the Bergamot Blossom by ILLUMINUM referenced above and get tons of compliments on both of these!) This is a perfect gift for any butterfly lover in your life! With Mother's Day Coming Up Soon, I urge you to keep this one in mind!

Butterflies which brand resonates most with you? Which one would you most like to try? Let them know you saw them featured on Ascending Butterfly so we can hopefully come back with something fun for YOU too!
