Weekly Moment of Gratitude! + Winner Announcement! + Giveaways!

This week, I am grateful for:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - I had a really great time at the Bridesmaid DVD Launch Party earlier this week, in case you missed the recap and photos, they were this week's Wordless Wednesday. The party was great, donations were made to a great cause, there were bouquet tossings for prizes, spa treatments, never seen footage, a great candy station, tarot card readings and Yellowtail Wines was the event beverage sponsor!

Weekly Moment of Gratitdue + Winners + Giveaways!

Sunday Moment of Gratitude! + Winners!

This week, I am grateful for:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - For the Smooth Cruise! I got to see Najee in concert on a Smooth Jazz sail. The weather was awful, it was pouring and no one was able to sit out on deck. For last year's sail, I sat out on the deck the entire sail and I enjoyed that serenity. Great music, great view, great company. This year when I realized I couldn't sit out on the deck, I wasn't so happy at first. I arrived on the ship, looking like a drowned rat, because despite my umbrella, the winds were making it so that I arrived wet anyway. So there I was wet, uncomfortable and forced indoors. But it truly turned out to be a blessing in disguise! I met great people that I would never have met if I sat on deck, and had a wonderful time. In fact, the cruise didn't even feel like it was the full time, because the time went so fast talking to everyone at my table! Spoiler Alert: OK, so it wasn't a movie, so this technically isn't a spoiler, but there will be an encore sail in October, and I'd highly suggest you keep checking our Today's Butterfly, because there may something special coming up for BOTH of us! :)

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - The Help, that movie is a *MUST* see, as you can see Friday I gave you a teaser, and Tuesday I'll have a full review, but for a movie to make my Sunday gratitude list, you know it must be good!

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - It was an incredibly busy week this week, between events and errands, I didn't feel like I had enough time to get everything done, but somehow I did. I'm filled with gratitude for my busy and productive week!

Sunday Moment of Gratitude - Happy Father's Day! Check out Ascending Butterfly's Dad! Winner Announcement and Giveaways too!

This week, I am grateful for:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - My Dad! I had a great Dad, his face always lit up like a 100 watt light bulb when he saw me. But sadly we didn't get much time, he died when I was very young! I scanned in the picture of him that I carry daily in my wallet! (Isn't he handsome?)

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - I loved this status from Facebook and used it on both of my Facebook Pages Today:

Sunday Moment of Gratitude, Winners List, Active Giveaways and MORE!

This week, I am grateful for:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - For another reminder to simply be grateful for each day! As you know, I spent the bulk of the week at the BlogWorld East New Media Expo which was sharing space with BookExpo America. I didn't have much time to visit BookExpo, but when I did get a chance to visit, Jane Fonda was speaking, I had a chance to stay and hear her Questions and Answers with the audience, and she was asked "What inspires you?", and her response was quite simple yet very profound "Still Being Around", "Just the fact that I'm still here inspires me". Her response has stayed with me all week. And when problems seemed to overwhelm my thoughts, I remembered that just being here really is the gift, and if you have another day you can let it be a clean slate or merely a repeat of the one that came before.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Even though I'm spending mine mostly getting caught up, I am very happy that it's Memorial Day Weekend! How are you celebrating this weekend? At the beach? Family Barbeque?

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - The opportunity to learn from my peers in the industry. BlogWorld has helped me to feel even more energized about my blog and my writing. The only real roadblock to my success are my perceptions and thoughts, and those can be always be improved and changed to suit my highest good! I will post more recaps about specific sessions and some over due event recaps throughout the week.
