Pros:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - As a Latina I tend to have trouble finding a good Foundation Match for my skin. They may look fine under indoor lighting but the moment I step out into the sun they give me a garish Yellow Hue that I usually HATE. When I visit 'pro' counters they tend to just go darker which I also dislike. So when I'm asked to test a foundation I'm usually most nervous about whether or not I'll even find a good color match. Visible Lift Blur comes in 18 shades and I asked for 205 Natural Buff and it's an EXCELLENT color match for my evenly mixed Golden Hued Skin that does have slight touches of pink to it. So for that alone it's Aces in my book!

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - This wins as a summer time foundation as it's very lightweight and in the summer who wants pancake makeup?

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Helps to hide dark spots, large pores and smooth uneven texture for a flawless finish

Cons:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - I have acne prone skin and a ton of old Acne Scars and this did not give me much coverage for my old scars. In all fairness when I test a foundation I do NOT use concealer to see how much coverage I am actually getting from the Foundation as a standalone product.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - I do have large pores on my nose and didn't feel this gave me the amount of coverage I thought it would.

My Take:

If this had been marketed as a Tinted Moisturizer I would have said total 'rave', it's a perfect color match that blends in to my skin and doesn't stand out in anyway which is GREAT, but the coverage is minimal to non-existent for me. I am aware that my acne scarring requires good concealer and with concealer this works very well for me, but on it's own it's not a very good coverage for me as a foundation.

I actually love my L'Oréal Paris tinted Mouisturizer and wish they had marketed this the same way. It's a great bargain price point for a Foundation and is great for summer, not hard to find a color match, and it feels so nice and light weight upon application and it also really let's the skin breath so it's a plus for summer.

If you have a bit less to cover than I do this would be perfect for you and at a $14.99 retail price point for 1.4 fl oz at mass food and drug retailers it's a total steal!

  1. This sounds like a good product. I have a really hard time finding the right shade for me as I am rather on the pale side. Often ivory is too pale, and beige is too dark.

  4. That's kind of pricey for a product that acts as a tinted moisturizer. I actually use Avon foundation and have really liked it over the years.

  7. My girlfriend always goes on and on about this stuff. I got her a tube of it for her birthday once. I've never seen her so happy.

  8. This sounds like it would work great for me. I prefer light coverage.

  9. I have pasty white skin so it's hard for me to find a good foundation color match too. I hardly use it though...maybe I will more when I head back to work.

  10. The pros are great with this product. I think you need concealer with acne scars. I am like you, I don't typically use concealer. My Lancôme actually gives me good coverage without concealer

  11. I actually don't wear foundation at all. When I do wear makeup, it's very minimal.

  12. Sounds like a great product. I'm not sure if it would work for me, but I need to check it out!

  13. I like that it's lightweight. I'd try this.

  14. I'm not really into makeup so much. I usually get it done professionally whenever the occasion calls for it. Sounds like a great product though, I'll keep it in mind when I find myself in need of wearing makeup more often.

  15. I'm glad you were able to find a color that suited you! Maybe if you tested it with a concealer, you would have better luck?

  16. I like that it has sunscreen in it too. I also found that it wasn't quite the right coverage for me.

  17. I love an honest review. Thanks for sharing that this works more as a tinted moisturizer than for full coverage...thats important to know!

  18. Totally agree with you I bought one since I love the miracle blur primer and this is not a foundation, just a tinted moisturizer, does not offer coverage at all.

  19. Oh this sounds lovely Like something I would use myself too!

  21. i don't use foundations so this is something I'd like. I much prefer a tinted moisturizer for a more natural feel

  22. I have a hard time finding a good foundation for myself as well. Lights are usually too light and then the next shade in line always seems to be too orangy.

  23. I tried this foundation recently and actually like the amount of coverage. When I try a "heavier" foundation I think it doesn't look natural and it ends up being flakey after a while too.

  24. I like a tinted moisturizer so it sounds like something I would probably like. Although I definitely get that if you are used to a thicker product it wouldn't work. The blur name makes it sound much more than minimal coverage.

  25. I have a hard time finding coverage for my acne scars too. Thanks for the honest review

  26. Too bad it didn't hide the large pores. That's my issue, so this may not be the product for me. However, I would use it as a tinted moisturizer.

  27. I love L'oreal products. I use their lipstick and mascara, but haven't tried these products yet. Thanks for sharing.

  28. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I don't use foundation but my girls do. They do have breakouts though, not necessarily scars from the breakouts. I wonder if this would provide the cover up they need.

  29. It's hard to find foundations and correctors sometimes. Especially if you have any color to your skin. Everything shows up a little differently on darker skin tones. When I find a good product I stick to it.
