What happens to the rest of your day when early on you realize your feet are aching? I don't know about you, but mine goes downhill pretty quick. My Take

Pros:

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - True circulation massage, not just a vibrational one, which in my opinion offers more long term benefit

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Easy Sleeves - I love that you can easily remove the sleeve and wash it often (People WANT to use it, and a result I feel much happier that I can clean the sleeves between each use)

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Easy Set Up! I love when Plug and Play truly means plug and play!

Cons

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Big Footprint both width and height, I was hoping to be able to tuck it under one of the end tables when not in use

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Beware of your chair, if you use it sitting on an office chair, LOCK the wheels first, because it will actually move you in the chair, sit somewhere stable with it. Even with office chair wheels locked it could move my chair backwards. (Which if you ask me is also a Pro by the way!)

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ - Be sure that if you are planning to leave this in a family room that you supervise children and of course watch out for your pets, if it's plugged in and they jump on it, they can turn it on or off accidentally!

I have tried other machines that enclose the calf so the calf massage is much more intense, with this unit the calf is NOT fully enclosed. Which means if you have athletic calves you won't have to worry about whether or not you can get your foot in, but it doesn't give as intense a massage to the calf area because of it. To get a full calf massage, you put your calves on top of the unit, it gives the calves a massage this way instead of on the inside of the unit as with competing brands. This is a plus and minus again, a plus because any size calf can enjoy this massager, but a con because your feet will hang over the unit while your calves are being massaged which is a bit awkward to get used to. If you are a wider width foot, you feel some extra pressure on your ankle bone, so take the time to adjust your foot properly and comfortably, until you are 'in' in such a way that truly feels comfortable for your foot. 

I recommend the HT-1350 Pro Foot and Calf Massager for everyone on your list! An especially thoughtful gift for anyone in your life who is on their feet all day!
