I have always loved Black Forest Cake, it's tied with Strawberry Shortcake as my all time favorite cake! I even had a favorite restaurant (in Atlantic City, New Jersey) where I'd go eat this famous German Dessert Cake. The NY Black Forest Cheesecake from Cheesecake.com took all the things that make a Black Forest Cake so delightful, the cherries, and not just any cherries by the way, but California port wine cherries, and on top you will find a layer of deep chocolate devil's food crumbs, this is combined with sinfully rich and velvety smooth cheesecake! It's like someone reached into my dreams and devised my dream dessert.
