Happy 3rd Birthday Butterfly! We've come a long way baby!

Ascending Butterfly turns three today! It's been three wild years! We started with breathing affirmational meditations daily and have come quite a long way since. It took me a long time to feel comfortable enough to share more pieces of myself and my life on these pages. But now when I read back on my older posts I realize just how far this community has come.
2012 has been a challenging year for me on a personal level, but with the support and wonderful messages from butterflies in this community I've made it through feeling stronger and stronger everyday, so today is just as much about YOU as it ever could be about me. Thanks for sharing in the journey with me. Here's to the next 3 years!

I had no idea a love of butterflies could turn into a community of inspiration seekers, a community of social good and optimism that gives me the strength to move forward on days when I feel I can't. Blogging has been exciting and incredibly un-predictable, I have no idea what the next 3 years will bring as Social Media Expands and Changes, but I do look forward to the journey! I do hope the future holds many more Twitter Parties! :)

It's my 'Blog-A-Versary'

H a p p y B i r t h d a y!

Today, Ascending Butterfly is officially one year old! It's our 'Blog-A-Versary'! And it's thanks to each and every one of you! We've grown in leaps and bounds, THANKS TO YOU!

It has been quite a year. One of trial and error, learning, change and the transformation that butterflies are the very symbol of.

I can only hope I've inspired you all a quarter of how you've all inspired me! From sharing your moments of gratitude & inspiration with me each week, your triumphs, your happy and not so happy moments and the glimpses into your lives that you've shared with me it's been an interesting ride and I look forward to discovering what the next year will bring!

I also want to thank the many giveaway sponsors we have worked with this year. Especially the ones who took a chance on us in the very begining when we were a much smaller community than we are now.

Even though this was just supposed to be a blog-a-versary thread, I couldn't resist leaving you with some words of inspiration anyway, 'Just for Today, I will celebrate the small victories, I will be thankful for all those little things that made my day complete'. Celebrate the small victory you make today, later on, it will become a much bigger deal than it is right now!

Remember, Attitude Really Does Determine Altitude!

We'll meet again here same time next year for another 'Blog-A-Versary', hopefully with triple the amount of people! (By then we will need a party planning committee!) Until then, I'll just keep spreading my wings and see just how far they can take me in my virtual life, and my 'real' one! (I'll admit the lines are getting pretty blurry!)
