OK so even on Wordless Wednesday I have a hard time being absolutely 'wordless' This picture was taken in the expo hall during BlogHer 2010 at the Hilton in New York City. I saw this today on dancelightly.com and it really resonated with me! This is exactly how I've been feeling lately. And this small shift in perspective has moved mountains in my life. You can read quotes and affirmations daily for years upon years until one actually resonates with you in a way that makes changes happen! Those changes happen because of the shift in your perspective, because you are vibrationally aligned with the words, they move you, because you are actually allowing them to!

Don't see walls today, see Doors.

Doors Open. Walls can only be broken to be moved.

Where is the wall in your life? Can you put a doorknob on that wall?

Use 'Today's Words of Inspiration' as a breathing meditation to still your mind, quiet your thoughts and bring in positive energy. As you inhale bring in only positive energy by saying in your mind, I breathe in positive energy (or you can say creative energy if that is what you wish to create more of) and as you exhale, Affirm out loud today 'I walk through doors with ease, Today, I am vibrationally aligned with my intentions!'

You all know how much I love a well put together gift basket, both on the giving and receiving end! I'm also a total confessed chocaholic and jumped at the chance to review a Ghirardelli gift basket with ProFlowers! I am pretty tough on my handbags. Nothing against the color or anything but I'm a black wearing New Yorker and wondered if this dainty colored bag could possibly hold up to my daily commute. I thought for sure this bag would end up with strange stains and punctured by having one of my high heels poke a hole through it from the inside, but I was pleasantly surprised! This bag passed the rigors of a weekly NYC public transportation commute (in the summertime no less) with flying colors. It's been well past 30 days and this bag still looks NEW! And the stitching hasn't even buckled under the enormous weight load I put it through daily!

Here's the Skinny: I love this bag! It's the right size for me, despite the fact I carry a lot each day, I don't want my bag to look like I'm using a weekender! This doesn't look like a duffel, but holds up like one. The color is absolutely perfect for Spring and Summer, and it's just the right shade of pink for those of you who are much like me and wouldn't normally go with pink, this isn't peptol or neon or so faded you'd think it's white, it's a true pink rose petal, and very versatile. It has the pockets I love, especially on the outside (I need to reach my metrocard QUICKLY! and with one hand....) So do I recommend? That's a resounding YES ladies! I don't mind embracing more ways to stay 'green' but when it comes to handbags I still have my preferences, this bag helped me to be 'green' and not feel like I was compromising my favorite and preferred bag style type in the process! Today's Words of Inspiration - What's New Butterfly?

Somehow there is a Tom Jones song stuck in my head. What's New Pussycat? I don't even remember where I heard it today. And since I can't get it out of there, and they say if you can't beat em join em, I'm going to let this train of song, er thought, yeah I mean thought, run it's course! We did speak yesterday of finding inspiration in new places!

When is the last time you learned something new? Was it in school? Was it when you trained for your current job?

Did you know that Tom Jones has received his knighthood from the Queen at Buckingham Palace? The photo above was taken when he received it! If you answered 'No' to this question, PERFECT, you just learned something new for the day!

They say from infancy to toddler years we soak up new information like a sponge and are at our very best when it comes to learning new information. I don't think this means we can't learn as we get older, it just gets a little harder.

Blogging has challenged me to learn something new everyday, whether it's learning to code something because the template limitations don't suit me, or learning to get better at research so I can do it faster, I find I am still learning something new everyday.

It can be fun to seek out inspiration in unusual places and to make sure you are also doing so in places you regularly visit!

Twitter which folks either like or hate, (same with facebook) can be more childish than high school, and at times equally profound. The messages are mixed depending upon who you follow and who follows you, but I came across an interesting 'tweet' this weekend and couldn't help but share it!

This Week's Moment of Gratitude! - Well we danced by the light of the moon!

There is an impending Full Moon energy that has been clouding things up a bit cosmically speaking. Full Moons are considered endings; perhaps a chapter in your life is closing now. In the clear light of the Full Moon, you are able to distinguish what may be holding you back and what you need to break free of before you can move forward. Start with a junk drawer, then move to a closet. Maybe the clear light of the moon will help you see your items with fresh new eyes.

Sometimes even songs capture the nostalgia that is arisen during a new moon phase and help us put our feelings into perspective.

What do these lyrics remind you of? The bolded lines really resonated most with me. This new moon weekend has found many I know purging their closets and while I at first bucked the idea,  I think I will spend the day doing much of the same. Getting rid of the old will make room for the new, and also let me know clearly what I still value by what makes the cut in the 'save' pile by the time I'm through.

After I clean my closets and get nostalgic over what has to go because it no longer serves a purpose or fills a need, I'm also going to take a moment to really enjoy the pieces that 'made the cut' the ones staying with me because I need them a little longer on my journey. Then I'll stare in complete satisfaction at the empty space I've made.  And the wonder and possibility of what is going to fill this new space in my life.

When that's all done.......I may just have to dance.....by the light of moon.....and let moonbeams dance across my hair. What will your full/new moon ritual be?

I plan to allow myself work free time and errands free time and just be at peace. I'm thinking it's a great night to catch up with an old friend! Laughter is the most healing medicine I can think of after such a long, stressful week!
